General Overview:

École Centrale de Nantes, or Centrale Nantes, is a grande école - a French engineering school - established in 1919 under the name of Institut Polytechnique de l'Ouest. It delivers Graduate, Master, and PhD Programmes based on the latest scientific and technological developments and the best management practices

Application and Course Timeline:

the autumn and spring semesters, commencing respectively in September and February.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Only those students selected and introduced by their home institution - which must be a partner of Centrale Nantes are eligible to apply for an exchange year or semester.
• You will receive the application form as soon as your university has officially nominated you to [email protected].

Courses and Grading:

Exchange year/semester courses taught in English are available to choose from some of first and second year (M1 or M2)Master of Science (MSc) programmes

One can only choose courses from a single specialism

Housing, Accommodation and Transport:

Centrale Nantes has an ongoing partnership with CROUS and some private residences.

The International Relations Department can thus book accommodation on behalf of new incoming international students. The International Relations Department will contact the new incoming international students directly by email by June with regards to accommodation.
