Application-
Step 1 - Nomination by college
Every exchange student has to be officially nominated by the
International Office via online portal.
Step 2 - application by the student
After being nominated by college, you will receive the application
instructions from Hof university by email. You will need to complete
online application as follows:
- create your own log-in
- fill in all requested data
- upload all requested documents:
• Current academic transcript of records in English language
• Passport photo
• Passport copy
Timeline-
Winter semester
• Nomination Period- April 1 to April 30
• Application period- May 1 to May 31
• Semester- October 1 to February 15
Summer semester
• Nomination Period- September 1 to October 31
• Application period- November 5 to November 30
• Semester- March 15 to July 31
Eligibility
• at least one year of full-time studies
• a language level of minimum B2 in English or German.
Housing, accommodation and transport
• Exchange students at Hof University do not pay any tuition
fees. You only have to pay a student service fee of approx. 100
EUR per semester.
• accommodation is available in student dormitories or on the
private market. The monthly rent varies from 260 - 350 EUR.
