General Overview:

Sciences po is an international research university, both selective and open onto the world, ranking among the finest institutions in the fields of humanities and social sciences.

Application and Course Timeline:

Exchange students come to Sciences Po for one or two semesters and can study in English, French or in both languages.

Sciences Po requires its partners to nominate online the students they have selected to come on an exchange to Sciences Po.

Nomination takes place twice a year:

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Sciences Po Undergraduate College exchange programme (FR) (Bachelor’s level), students from partner universities must have completed at least four semesters of university studies and have been nominated by their home university.

Exchange students can take courses in English or French, depending on their home university’s requirements. They study at the Undergraduate College alongside all the other Sciences Po students, so are fully integrated into the Sciences Po student body even if they choose a curriculum taught entirely in English.

Please note: exchange students are asked to explain in their cover letter to Sciences Po why they want to study on the campus for which they were nominated by their home university. As such, they need to have the level of language proficiency required for that campus.
