SEOUL NATIONAL UNIVERSITY:
Seoul National University (SNU; Korean: 서울대학교; lit. Seoul University) is a Flagship Korean National University located in Seoul, South Korea. The university is widely regarded as the undisputed top university in Korea by reputation, ranking, and output. The university has three campuses: the main campus in Gwanak District and two additional campuses in Daehangno and Pyeongchang County. The university comprises sixteen colleges, one graduate school and nine professional schools.
EXCHANGE PROGRAM:
Seoul National University offers international students various ways to study, not only as degree-seeking students but also as short-term students such as exchange or visiting students. A large number of international students in the past have enjoyed studying at Korea's most prestigious university and learning about Korea and Korean culture. SNU annually accepts about 800 international exchange/visiting students.
Exchange Student Program
The Exchange Student Program is for students from SNU’s partner universities who wish to study at SNU for one or two semesters and transfer credits to their home institution. Since the first student exchange agreement with the University of Tokyo in 1995, SNU has signed more than 240 student exchange agreements (university-wide) with institutions all around the world.
To be an exchange student, candidates must be officially nominated by their home institution and pay the tuition fee to their home institution, not to SNU. On-campus housing is provided and partial support for fees for taking Korean language courses will be offered. For more information on this program, visit the website of the SNU Office of International Affairs.
