Housing, Accommodation and Transport:
- Tampere University does not have any on-campus accomodation, does not own any student housing nor have housing services to offer. Student housing for exchange students in Tampere is administrated mainly by the Tampere Student Housing Foundation (TOAS), which provides a number of furnished rooms for incoming exchange students at a student-friendly price including free internet and other fairly priced services.
- Another option is Pirkan Opiskelija-asunnot (POAS), which has a small number of furnished apartments for exchange students. This option might be the best for exchange students studying on Kauppi campus, as POAS student house in Ruotula is located close to the campus. Read more: POAS Furnished apartments.
The rent includes always free internet connection, water, electricity, laundry and sauna shifts.
