General Overview:

University College Groningen is a Faculty of the University of Groningen, one of the world’s top 100 universities.

Application and Course Timeline:

• Nomination deadline for spring semester: 15 October
• Application Deadline: 1 November

Eligibility Criteria:

These courses are mainly for students who are in the final year of their Bachelor's programme and for students who are taking a Master's programme. Most exchange students stay for a period of three to twelve months. Exchange periods are September-February and February-July.

The University of Groningen does NOT provide accommodation for students. Please check at home in Groningen for available accommodation.

Visa Requirements:

The Immigration Service Desk (ISD) of the University of Groningen (UG) applies for the mvv (long-term multiple entry visa) and/or residence permit with Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) on your behalf. elf. The UG is appointed by Dutch law to handle visa applications on behalf of their students and is the legal guarantor/sponsor in relation to the student and the IND.
