General Overview:

The university of Westminister started out 180 years ago as the first polytechnic in London and one of the first in the UK, established to educate the working people of London.

Application and Course Timeline:

• For the semester starting in September :
  • Deadline for nomination: 1 April
  • Deadline for Application: 1 May
• For the semester starting in January:
  • Deadline for nomination: 1 September
  • Deadline for Application: 15 October

Eligibility Criteria:

You will need to be selected and nominated by your home university to study in one of our faculties or departments covered by our exchange partnership. Nominations must be sent to the Education Abroad Team and received by the appropriate deadline.

For undergraduate exchange students:

• You must be in good academic standing.
• You must be 18 years of age or older when you begin the programme.
• If you are a student from a country using the GPA system, you must have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale. If you wish to study subjects from the School of Arts and the School of Media and Communication, we require a cumulative 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

For Postgraduate exchange students

• You must be a graduate and hold an undergraduate degree.
• If you are a student from a country using the GPA system, you must have graduated with a cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale. If you wish to study subjects from the School of Arts and the School of Media and Communication, you must have graduated with a cumulative 3.0 grade on a 4.0 scale.

Courses and Grading:

You must include your module choices in your application and can only study modules provided in the department or faculty that you have been nominated to study in.
